Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Ivey, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Renegade AFC's Cory Grover shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Reginald Burns sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Reginald Burns took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cory Grover managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renegade AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cory Grover was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. César Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Alcocer in the 35th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cory Grover in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Reginald Burns tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Cory Grover ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renegade AFC's César Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Renegade AFC from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but César Prestes made a huge save. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendon Ivey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costa Rica's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
