Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. Vojkan Lapuh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 5 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When Tonček Sternad fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fajteri's protests and gave Tonček Sternad a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Fajteri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonček Sternad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vojkan Lapuh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 13th minute. Vojkan Lapuh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vojkan Lapuh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Lautaro Puig in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fajteri's Milko Aubelj. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vojkan Lapuh having to interfere. Eliseo Noboa took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vojkan Lapuh. Vojkan Lapuh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Milko Aubelj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Milko Aubelj was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Fajteri's Vojkan Lapuh got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efrain Moruga made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fajteri's Giuliano Černilec. Fajteri's Eduard Komatar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 57 minute of the game. Tonček Sternad kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Fajteri's goalkeeper Vojkan Lapuh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Milko Aubelj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. When Tonček Sternad was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Fajteri's Tonček Sternad got a free kick in the 75th minute. A hard shot 76 in the game by Axel Tasis from a close distance when the talented Vojkan Lapuh managed to make a qualified save. Fajteri's players were relieved. 78 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vojkan Lapuh. Fajteri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 84 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vojkan Lapuh, 0-4. In the 90th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Armido Mikluž managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fajteri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armido Mikluž was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Fajteri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armido Mikluž didn't get a good kick on the ball. Although Fajteri had been in control for most of the match, Costa Rica still came away with the win.
