In the 5th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Ghioncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Carpathians's Alin Nichitelea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Constantin Bot made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cazimir Feteanu however managed to control. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpathians's goalie prevented a goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Ghioncu was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Călin Ghioncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alin Nichitelea. Carpathians's Călin Ghioncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Teobald Karanewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Teobald Karanewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2.

The wind increased when Alin Nichitelea made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Nichitelea, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Anthony Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Feteanu in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Nichitelea in the 60th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carpathians's Rodrigo Marinho was substituted for Teobald Karanewski. In the 75thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpathians's Călin Ghioncu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Călin Ghioncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Nichitelea in the 77th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Nichitelea in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Călin Ghioncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Călin Ghioncu. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Rodrigo Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Călin Ghioncu made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target. The Carpathians supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
