In the 7th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Goldthorpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Will Goldthorpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Karlstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Oalo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. América Magics Fc's Will Goldthorpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 28th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after América Magics Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. América Magics Fc's Roque Oalo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Will Goldthorpe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute Hampus Karlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo da Costa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roque Oalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roque Oalo went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. América Magics Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Will Goldthorpe, making the score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Goldthorpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Will Goldthorpe however easily saved by the left post. Will Goldthorpe came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Will Goldthorpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 65th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Karlstedt in the 67th minute of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Will Goldthorpe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind América Magics Fc's goalkeeper Will Goldthorpe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Will Goldthorpe made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. América Magics Fc's Vinicio Valery was substituted for Roque Oalo. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Will Goldthorpe. Will Goldthorpe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Karlstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. América Magics Fc's Will Goldthorpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 89th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Karlstedt in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind América Magics Fc's goalkeeper Will Goldthorpe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
