Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abram Sarmiento got the match started through his kick off. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kartal Oğuz having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Mauro Abraão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kartal Oğuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's Kartal Oğuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of play. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kartal Oğuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 39th minute of play forced FC VULTURII LUGOJ's goalkeeper Kartal Oğuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kartal Oğuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Kartal Oğuz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Corrêa to strike the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Hurmuzescu in the 51st minute of play. Kartal Oğuz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. After 74 played minutes, Colombia's Santino Seco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kartal Oğuz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. A hard shot 76 in the game by Ignacio Mastache from a close distance when the talented Kartal Oğuz managed to make a qualified save. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's players were relieved. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Figo in the 80th minute of the match.
