FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. André Nordmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Peru got a corner. FC Blueskatterna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A sloppy throw-in by Joachim Bergman in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Peter Björkman charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Björkman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes FC Blueskatterna got a freekick which was hit by Peter Björkman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play forced FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper André Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Björkman in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind.
