Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Cristian Nevares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Nevares really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Florentino Cedro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Flávio Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio Terra having to interfere.

The wind increased when Cristian Nevares made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Nevares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute Florentino Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Flávio Terra made a huge save. After having played for 69 minutes, Florentino Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Conceição's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Cedro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When SC Conceição's Florentino Cedro in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Cedro in the 77th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes of play, SC Conceição's Florentino Cedro made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flávio Terra. The goal made the score 6-1. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flávio Terra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Conceição were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
