Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mattias Smefeldt kicked off to start the match. Michael Haglund's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Haglund helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 7 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fredrik Bennet was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredrik Bennet. Samurai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Panama's Miguel Miralles suffered a concussion after 23 minutes and had to leave the field. When Bo Svanström fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samurai's protests and gave Bo Svanström a yellow card for diving instead. Panama's Oscar Laguna was substituted for Miguel Miralles. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute of the match, Olov Bäckström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Samurai's Fredrik Bennet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play. Panama were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Samurai's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Alex Cambeiro drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Samurai's goalkeeper. In the 35th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredrik Bennet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Alguacil's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Roger Kalfhage. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 45th minute of the match Michael Haglund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Michael Haglund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Panama booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Haglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Samurai's goalkeeper Fredrik Bennet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. Tomas Berganza had several of the Samurai's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Fredrik Bennet as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Samurai's Henry Kjellkvist got a free kick in the 59th minute. Fredrik Bennet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Samurai's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cambeiro came free, but Fredrik Bennet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Fredrik Bennet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Fredrik Bennet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bennet having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. 84 minutes in the game, Tomas Berganza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fredrik Bennet having to interfere. With a little luck, Samurai's Fredrik Bennet got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fredrik Bennet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
