Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aggelos Telakos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mwai Emilio Otieno got free with Dante Lacasa in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aggelos Telakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of play forced George Weahs Academy's goalkeeper Aggelos Telakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aggelos Telakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute of the match. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when George Weahs Academy's Mwai Emilio Otieno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aggelos Telakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aggelos Telakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aggelos Telakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Facundo Cadaval's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Franco Burgos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 minutes, Kimani Obondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the George Weahs Academy and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aggelos Telakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mwai Emilio Otieno in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, George Weahs Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Aggelos Telakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, George Weahs Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Burgos to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Aggelos Telakos made a huge save. Aggelos Telakos came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aggelos Telakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 70th minute of play. When Mexico's Joel Gaona in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye George Weahs Academy's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aggelos Telakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mekatilili Kalekye hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aggelos Telakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ngina Njoroge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aggelos Telakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 92nd minute of the match. Mekatilili Kalekye's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mekatilili Kalekye helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, George Weahs Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mekatilili Kalekye to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Mexico's Joel Gaona tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aggelos Telakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The George Weahs Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
