Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. The Julio Vera was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hubert Fagrell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hubert Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Per Stenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per Stenberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Per Stenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Fagerberg was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rönnöfors FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hubert Fagrell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Björkdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Fagerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Hubert Fagrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 80th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 84th minute of play. Rönnöfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Stenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per Tunström went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
