Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santiago Mino started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Mino in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, Santiago Mino notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Isaias Grove hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Marcelino Chaime could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Santiago Mino came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Mino couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Mino's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Santiago Mino took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Alfredo Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palermo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Palermo:s Alfredo Joey showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Joey having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Marcelino Chaime had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Chaime was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Santiago Mino. But to his dismay, Santiago Mino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After 70 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Maximino Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Santiago Mino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Mino in the 84th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Palermo's Santiago Mino in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Alfredo Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
