Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Loco Palermo kicked off to start the match. Loco Palermo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 8th minute, Luis Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Montesacro FC were awarded a corner. Juliusz Julien went to the cornerflag to take it. 18 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Loco Palermo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Paolo Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paolo Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montesacro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. The supporters of Colombia booed when Montesacro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Prodan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giacomo Casanova made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Loco Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Paolo Rossi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 76th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Rossi in the 81st minute of play. Paolo Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giacomo Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 89th minute of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache managed to work through Montesacro FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ignacio Mastache dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Cazalla in the 92nd minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montesacro FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
