With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Boomerang Bombers's Arman Högström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 13 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Boomerang Bombers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Lundström in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Henry Tolsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Boomerang Bombers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Hellsing didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Billy Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Boomerang Bombers's Arman Högström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When Michael Nyberg fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boomerang Bombers's protests and gave Michael Nyberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Michael Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Carl Askelöf despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Billy Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Högström in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 61 minutes, Jörn Hellsing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boomerang Bombers and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Billy Sundberg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carl Askelöf. The goal made the score 2-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Tolsson in the 84th minute of play. With his leg Carl Askelöf managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Boomerang Bombers from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Billy Sundberg notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boomerang Bombers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
