The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Bani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by David Esiquio with Zé Bani as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Luz Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes in the game David Esiquio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zé Bani. LTA FC made a substitution. Arsenio Erico replaced Teo Martxelin. In the 70th minute of the match Peru got a corner. LTA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Peru's Emmanuel Reyes to fire away a dangerous shot which Dalmacio Ebardo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zé Bani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. LTA FC's Tomás Matai was substituted for Ergin Hanbeyi. After 75 played minutes LTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Erico. In the 76th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. A sloppy throw-in by Pablo-Enrique Cuba in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Eliseo Alcocer made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LTA FC's David Esiquio. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LTA FC.
