Shpend Kule made in the 6th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Harald Strener immediately put the ball in play. In the 7th minute of the match, Donato Rami tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lautaro Navarro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 8th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dashamir Januzaj in the 11th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes FC Partizan Tirana got a freekick which was hit by Enerik Berishaj. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes Sebastian Villa shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Kıraç Ak when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Honduras booed when FC Partizan Tirana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shpend Kule didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kıraç Ak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Enerik Berishaj sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kıraç Ak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kıraç Ak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Harald Strener's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Dashamir Januzaj struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Partizan Tirana. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo Espiga during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Strener, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Partizan Tirana's Kıraç Ak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kıraç Ak had great luck who in the 60thth minute grab hold of the ball when Edmundo Espiga from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Valentín Carvallo's late challenge caught a FC Partizan Tirana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentín Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. Harald Strener took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 70th minute, Harald Strener got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kıraç Ak was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Strener in the 73rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kıraç Ak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Strener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
