Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Finlay Stair got the match started through his kick off. Inácio Pinheiro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Karlus Waugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio Pinheiro was shown his second yellow card after 11 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 12 played minutes E.C 2 Janeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Pinheiro. 14 minutes into the match, Finlay Stair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlinhos da Costa. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Finlay Stair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marco Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Valadares in the 20th minute. Carlinhos da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarell Hill in the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Marco Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlinhos da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Stair in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Valadares got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Stair came free, but Carlinhos da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dário Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jarell Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Carlinhos da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamaica's Karlus Waugh got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Fellipe Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Finlay Stair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlinhos da Costa. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Finlay Stair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Valadares to make the kick off. Geraldo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Marco Valadares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kordal Duff hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Carlinhos da Costa was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Karlus Waugh capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karlus Waugh really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Finlay Stair hit a great ball. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Valadares in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, Haroldo Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and Haroldo Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leron Sale hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Paulo Pontes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Haroldo Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Jamaica were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant E.C 2 Janeiro RS side.
