Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gaspar Dunixi made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd match minute, CACYFA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Gaspar Dunixi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CACYFA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Quirce having to interfere. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 19 minutes CACYFA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that CACYFA's Luis Quirce managed to reach the ball for a save. Luis Quirce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Gaspar Dunixi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Andino made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Dunixi in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th play minute Gaspar Dunixi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Vera. 3-1. In the 42nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Gaspar Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Dunixi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Gaspar Dunixi managed to get in a good position for a shot. CACYFA's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Dunixi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Quirce having to interfere. Luis Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, CACYFA's Gaspar Dunixi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 63 played minutes CACYFA got a freekick which was hit by Emil Tomasson. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Luis Quirce made a huge save. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Gaspar Dunixi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Gaspar Dunixi struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CACYFA. In the 73rd minute Gaspar Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Quirce made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. CACYFA's Safet Jovanović was substituted for Adolfo Jorrin. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Luis Quirce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 86 minutes into the match, CACYFA's Gaspar Dunixi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Safet Jovanović who took care of the corner kick. CACYFA's Luis Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, CACYFA's Gaspar Dunixi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Quirce having to interfere.
