When Celso Eiró came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the GD Almargense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Eiró couldn't finish the play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Rebelo in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Alexandre Eanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GD Almargense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Eanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Rebelo in the 35th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Eiró. Pascual Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Rebelo in the 48th minute of play.

Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Eiró's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Santino Seco. After 56 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. GD Almargense's Carlos Vides was substituted for Callum Doyle. GD Almargense made a substitution. Zarco Patrício replaced Adérito Pinheiro. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Alexandre Eanes struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GD Almargense. GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save GD Almargense from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Zarco Patrício managed to get in a good position for a shot. GD Almargense's supporters rose to their feet, but Zarco Patrício was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 69th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santino Seco to maneuver through the defense. Abram Secada hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 82nd minute, Alexandre Valadares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to GD Almargense getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. António Sousa hit a great ball. Marco Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When GD Almargense's Zarco Patrício, in the 93rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for GD Almargense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Vides in the 96th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GD Almargense were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
