Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ambrosio Ignazio started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Nueva Bodega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Orlin to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Aztore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Nueva Bodega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Senio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Maria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Nueva Bodega's Efrain Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nueva Bodega's Efrain Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Nueva Bodega's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Efrain Aztore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play forced Nueva Bodega's goalkeeper Efrain Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nueva Bodega's Efrain Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 30th minute of play. Efrain Aztore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Aztore was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. The supporters of Nueva Bodega booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Thanks to some nice moves Guido Maria could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. In the 48th minute, Guido Maria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Bodega fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Ignazio in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efrain Aztore. Efrain Aztore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 62nd minute Guido Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nueva Bodega's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pavel Landau in the 64th minute. The corner led Nueva Bodega's Pavel Landau to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pavel Landau made a great header on Nueva Bodega's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. 71 minutes into the match, Nueva Bodega's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Efrain Aztore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Ignazio in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Aztore was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Felix Montenegro had several of the Nueva Bodega's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Efrain Aztore as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Nueva Bodega's Ambrosio Ignazio in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nueva Bodega made a substitution. Fernando Maore replaced Alejandro Senio. With a little luck, Nueva Bodega's Efrain Aztore got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Ignazio in the 95th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Patricio Vedillo notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
