Ture Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Flodde CFC's Börje Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Börje Holmgren having to make a save. Börje Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Ove Britz. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Holmgren having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Nordin in the 21st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Börje Holmgren. Flodde CFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Flodde CFC's Anthon Nordin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anthon Nordin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Víktor Muli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Stevie Méthot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Muli, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Víktor Muli was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Anthon Nordin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stig-Ove Britz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Ålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ture Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Börje Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 77th minute of play. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Holmgren having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Flodde CFC got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Britz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Nordin in the 90th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víktor Muli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Flodde CFC had won after a very even match.
