Börje Holmgren made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita scored 0-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börje Holmgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 69th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Nyström in the 70th minute of play. Börje Holmgren made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flodde CFC.
