The supporters of Templars FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonathan Sammut showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Apelqvist in the 9th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Courtois saved Templars FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 22nd minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper André Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Templars FC's Evan Vancell quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orlando Tafalla, made in the 25th minute of the game. Márk Kovács blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Courtois having to make a save. André Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Templars FC's André Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 33rd minute of play. Jack Nicholson made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Courtois having to make a save. André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Benedict Cumberbatch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Courtois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Sammut was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Sammut scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Sammut in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Sammut who took care of the corner kick. 67 minutes into the game, Jonathan Sammut cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Ignacio Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Courtois having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Courtois saved Templars FC from getting behind. The corner led Colombia's Luis Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which André Courtois despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 77th minute, Colombia's Luis Cazalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Courtois. André Courtois yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Abram Secada came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and André Courtois could save by the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Jonathan Sammut notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the game, Abram Secada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of André Courtois. Abram Secada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Courtois having to interfere. André Courtois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Mastache's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Templars FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
