A collision led to FC Hamunaptra getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dennis Komen hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Hamunaptra's Eduardo Dorado. Eduardo Dorado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorival Sarmento really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Dorival Sarmento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Hamunaptra's Omar Njoroge slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-1 after 39 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorival Sarmento to strike the kick off in the second half. After 84 minutes, Dorival Sarmento made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute FC Hamunaptra were awarded a corner. Wilson Nzeki went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Wilson Nzeki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. FC Hamunaptra's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
