In the 15th minute Daniel Cabrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Cabrera. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TZILACATZIN's goalie prevented a goal. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Edinho Lira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Lira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Homero Thomson to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Edinho Lira in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edinho Lira. TZILACATZIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Cabrera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Edinho Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 72nd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homero Thomson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jose Carita kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Edinho Lira made a huge save. Edinho Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, TZILACATZIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. Edinho Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Lira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fabio Rencio kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Panama walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
