Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Liknes got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Lars Støylen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Daustad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Støylen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Miljeteig came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Christian Miljeteig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daustad's Christian Miljeteig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Daustad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Daustad's Christian Miljeteig managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 21stth minute of the game Luis Andino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Daustad's Christian Miljeteig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Lars Støylen. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Daustad defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Miljeteig. The Daustad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Miljeteig should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Miljeteig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Daustad's Christian Miljeteig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Støylen was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 45th match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Støylen to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Christian Miljeteig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Christian Miljeteig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 55th play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Christian Miljeteig. 0-3. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Andino got free with Christian Miljeteig in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Daustad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Daustad's Christian Miljeteig did a great save. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Christian Miljeteig made a huge save. In the 71st play minute Cristian Sancho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Christian Miljeteig. 0-4. Christian Miljeteig was a little too slow when Juan Sebastián Puig got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-5. Christian Miljeteig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Andino's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Daustad defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Miljeteig. The Daustad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Miljeteig should have stopped the shot. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Daustad's goalie prevented a goal. After 90 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Bjørdal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Miljeteig was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
