Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes San Felice a Ema U.L. got a freekick which was hit by Su Hui. Juan Guillem made in the 6th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Charilaos Tzanetakos however managed to control. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Tingelholm in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Antognoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by A.J. R. Hansen in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, A.J. R. Hansen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, Gustavo Gomes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bruno Antognoni came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bruno Antognoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Antognoni saved San Felice a Ema U.L. from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Björn Tingelholm put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play forced San Felice a Ema U.L.'s goalkeeper Bruno Antognoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Claudio Bernardini sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Björn Tingelholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudio Bernardini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gustavo Gomes in the 53 minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Antognoni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paşa Corre might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paşa Corre ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paşa Corre in the 58th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Björn Tingelholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Felice a Ema U.L. made a substitution. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paşa Corre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 83rd minute of the match San Felice a Ema U.L. got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustavo Gomes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on San Felice a Ema U.L.'s corner Gustavo Gomes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 86th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Antognoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Donnellson in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Björn Tingelholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Björn Tingelholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Felice a Ema U.L. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peru had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
