Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Trocha Media FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. 13 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Azevedo. Trocha Media FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Tasis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 15th minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Hustaz in the 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Trocha Media FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Trocha Media FC's Olgierd Zacharczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Rufio during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olgierd Zacharczyk struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trocha Media FC. 33 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Trocha Media FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Llin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Ambrosio Tauro took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Llin in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Llin in the 67th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Trocha Media FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Hustaz came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Alcocer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Azevedo having to interfere. Florentino Llin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Olgierd Zacharczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Eliseo Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Trocha Media FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Laureano Olando hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Estevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Olgierd Zacharczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trocha Media FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Olgierd Zacharczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costa Rica's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
