Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Décio Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Décio Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of the match. Décio Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Décio Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 15 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th match minute, Kellerbräu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Ekenberg to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Kellerbräu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Décio Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kellerbräu FC's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kellerbräu FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Jürgen Grunert, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Kellerbräu FC's Décio Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Fortunato Schumacher put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Garcia having to interfere. Décio Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Jürgen Grunert in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Décio Garcia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Décio Garcia. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play forced Kellerbräu FC's goalkeeper Décio Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Fortunato Schumacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Décio Garcia made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the match, Fortunato Schumacher notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mark Elzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Schumacher in the 87th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Décio Garcia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Kellerbräu FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
