Omar Sancho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Omar Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Omar Sancho. Red Hawk Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 19thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Hawk Football Club's Omar Sancho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Sancho having to interfere. When Anaya Sánchez fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Hawk Football Club's protests and gave Anaya Sánchez a yellow card for diving instead. Anaya Sánchez hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Red Hawk Football Club's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Sancho came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Sancho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Asteri Martínez kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Omar Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Sancho was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Omar Sancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eli Griego made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Omar Sancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Sancho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Omar Sancho in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Sancho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Omar Sancho. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Sancho having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Omar Sancho. That made the score 0-9 after 73 minutes of play. Omar Sancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Sancho. Red Hawk Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Sancho having to interfere. 0-11 became the score in the 88th minute when Daniel Zorita elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Red Hawk Football Club's Angel Babia got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ecuador played a much better game than Red Hawk Football Club and deserved their victory. The Red Hawk Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
