Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Kuoppala in the 5th minute of play. Manchester United FC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eero Uusipaavalniemi took the corner. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taisto Pentsinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Taisto Pentsinen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Taisto Pentsinen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of the match. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manchester United FC's Edwin van der Sar did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Valdemar Kuoppala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Valdemar Kuoppala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin van der Sar. Edwin van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 38 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Akseli Ilola. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 40th minute of play. Edwin van der Sar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Zorita went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. After 46 minutes of play, Manchester United FC's Eero Uusipaavalniemi made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar Kuoppala made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edwin van der Sar. Luca Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 54 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Taisto Pentsinen came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester United FC's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Akseli Ilola got a free kick in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Manchester United FC's Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Eero Uusipaavalniemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eero Uusipaavalniemi hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Rio Ferdinand hit a great ball. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Alfred Laulaja got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Manchester United FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
