Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luigi Di Maio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Christian Felice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Atletico Roma's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Felice quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 6 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liu Nan in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Atletico Roma were awarded a corner. Antonello Coco went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Felice having to interfere. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Felice. Christian Felice dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Felice saved Atletico Roma from getting behind. Atletico Roma's Christian Felice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Atletico Roma:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. Atletico Roma:s Christian Felice showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Christian Felice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Vida, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Vida. Atletico Roma's Christian Felice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Roma's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Felice came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Atletico Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Christian Felice reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Atletico Roma getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Augusto Bottone hit a great ball. After 45 minutes, Enzo Rossetti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Roma and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Atletico Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Rossetti to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atletico Roma's Amerigo Loreto was substituted for Luigi Di Maio. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Felice having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Christian Felice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Edmondo Colella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico Roma's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonello Coco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Christian Felice didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Atletico Roma made a substitution. Beppe Ricciuti replaced Ettore Della Francesca. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Loreto in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute of the match Atletico Roma got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeronimo Barreiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jeronimo Barreiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Christian Felice however easily saved by the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Felice quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Felice made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 91 minutes Atletico Roma's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Luis Andino at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Atletico Roma. 0-2. Federico Vida hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Atletico Roma got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Bottone. In the 96th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christian Felice, passed just outside the right post. The Atletico Roma fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
