Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jean-Paul Schuiling started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the SV Wissenkerke defense, Eliseo Noboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frits van Loo. The SV Wissenkerke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frits van Loo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 9th minute. SV Wissenkerke's Gertjan Baars got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Mariano Bombarda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Costa Rica's Benito Sanz didn't even have to move. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Gertjan Baars came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Jean-Paul Schuiling kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. Ronny Koole charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Koole the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SV Wissenkerke getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ronny Koole hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gertjan Baars in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Gerjan Staarman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 57th minute. Mariano Bombarda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gertjan Baars kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Alexander Carballo put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute there was a penalty for SV Wissenkerke. Mariano Bombarda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 5-1. In the 78thth minute of the game Jean-Paul Schuiling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gerjan Staarman struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Wissenkerke. In the 81st match minute, SV Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Koole to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylvan Baggio during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
