Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Ángel Gambier made the kick off and thus started the match. Lorenzo Cazalla made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Academia de Campeones's Rodolfo Calvet managed to reach the ball for a save. Rodolfo Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kermit Froggaard in the 23rd minute of play. Rodolfo Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Ángel Gambier got free with Dante Lacasa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Bernaldo's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Bernaldo helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Academia de Campeones got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Bernaldo. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Calvet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Fabian Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kai Havertz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Kermit Froggaard notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Miguel Ángel Gambier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Denis Blasco hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Rodolfo Calvet made a huge save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kermit Froggaard in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Kermit Froggaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 74th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 78th minute. Silverio Iraitz charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silverio Iraitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Academia de Campeones got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Iraitz. Rodolfo Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Kermit Froggaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Kermit Froggaard came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Havertz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Academia de Campeones fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
