Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mastur Bates in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play forced Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Dida Weidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Weidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Murillo Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Agustín Saelices sped through Zuera Never End MZC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dida Weidt. Dida Weidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Weidt saved Zuera Never End MZC from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Zuera Never End MZC's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mastur Bates, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dida Weidt came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Dida Weidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Dida Weidt. Zuera Never End MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Weidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Weidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of the match. Julio Vera had great luck who in the 44thth minute grab hold of the ball when Mastur Bates from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Zuera Never End MZC's Dida Weidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 董常朗, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 董常朗 in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 董常朗 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mastur Bates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dida Weidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Dida Weidt in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Michael Norström hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Arce in the 87th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Dida Weidt made a huge save. After 89 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. When Zuera Never End MZC's Mastur Bates in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dida Weidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 董常朗 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
