After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colombia! Pedro Manzanares had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Robert Serwacki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Guilherme Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Aparecido got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durval Aparecido. The corner led to ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Egon Isaksson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Durval Aparecido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Durval Aparecido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Durval Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egon Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Durval Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Guilherme Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 38th minute of play. Guilherme Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 45th minute of the match. Cláudio Caniggia hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when André Luís Zanette made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of play forced ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goalkeeper Guilherme Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Guilherme Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 64th minute of play forced ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goalkeeper Guilherme Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goalie prevented a goal. Axel Montenegro in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 75th minute, André Luís Zanette left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 80thth minute of the game André Luís Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guilherme Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 83rd minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Zanette in the 85th minute of play. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Guilherme Zanette in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guilherme Zanette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Secada's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
