The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guilherme Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 4th minute of the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 12th minute of play forced ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goalkeeper Guilherme Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Monty Rogers made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Zanette. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Guilherme Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Mamatulin in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Serwacki who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 26th minute of play forced ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goalkeeper Guilherme Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Guilherme Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guilherme Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 40th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Egon Isaksson was substituted for Belchior Mamatulin. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ made a substitution. Luizão Castro replaced Durval Aparecido. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luizão Castro to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Cassius Byrne slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guilherme Zanette. That made the score 1-2 after 58 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizão Castro in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Serwacki was slow to take the kick. During this time ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s corner Cláudio Caniggia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Guilherme Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 65th minute of play. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Guilherme Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Castro came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Luizão Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sam Campbell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guilherme Zanette came out and tried to block the shot, but Sam Campbell slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 81st minute. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Guilherme Zanette made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the USA defense, Luizão Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guilherme Zanette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Baker's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
