The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Wirinckx to strike the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SK Dreigoten's Christoffel Portmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SK Dreigoten from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christoffel Portmans. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ecuador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
