Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomáš Požgaj took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomáš Požgaj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. With an all-out effort, AFK Petržalka's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomáš Požgaj, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 7th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Tomáš Požgaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Štefan Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Tomáš Požgaj was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. AFK Petržalka's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colombia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Pedro Manzanares, was totally fooled by AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Tomáš Požgaj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Tomáš Požgaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Viktor Seno got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Štefan Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes, Axel Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the AFK Petržalka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viktor Seno made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Richard Zedník immediately put the ball in play. The throw-in from Viktor Seno in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Štefan Semeno made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Abram Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Bališ in the 56th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 58th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Štefan Semeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFK Petržalka's goalie prevented a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Viktor Seno in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Tomáš Požgaj kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák was substituted for Tomáš Požgaj. In the 77th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Obert to maneuver through the defense. Štefan Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Hudák's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. AFK Petržalka were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Pekarík took the corner. In the 92nd minute, Colombia's Santino Seco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Štefan Semeno. Štefan Semeno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-3. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
