Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute of the game Matthew Garrido made a throw-in which Alex Cambeiro played forward. After 8 minutes, Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Chico Moreno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes in the game Jose Carita did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Miguel Miralles. Chico Moreno came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Tomas Berganza sped through Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chico Moreno. In the 27th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chico Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chico Moreno was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Chico Moreno. Chico Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chico Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The Jacuitiba - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chico Moreno should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 43rd minute of play forced Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Chico Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Miralles in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zé Paulo Valle made the kick off in the second half. Chico Moreno was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-7. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chico Moreno. Chico Moreno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 61st minute of play forced Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Chico Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Chico Moreno in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Chico Moreno got control of the ball when Tomas Berganza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chico Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Miralles in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Tomas Berganza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chico Moreno. The goal made the score 0-9. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Abraham Alguacil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chico Moreno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Moreno. Chico Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. 86 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza lined in a short shot 0-12 behind a frustrated Chico Moreno. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Abraham Alguacil with Isidoro Sarmiento as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Adriano Souto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felipe Ros, made in the 93rd minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Panama's Chico Moreno threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Chico Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Ros in the 96th minute.
