Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kostas Briakos made the kick off which started today's match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ignacio Mahuzier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacio Mahuzier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to INTER getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Konstantinos Kouros hit a great ball. When Theodosis Kasselakis fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER's protests and gave Theodosis Kasselakis a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes INTER got a freekick which was hit by Theodosis Kasselakis. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nontas Alexatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes, Loukas Ikonomopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTER and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacio Mahuzier was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play forced INTER's goalkeeper Ignacio Mahuzier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Măgură, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after INTER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. After having played for 48 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The INTER players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, INTER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukas Ikonomopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th match minute, INTER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Kalabalikis to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Agustín Saelices scored 0-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignacio Mahuzier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. INTER's Ignacio Mahuzier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save INTER from getting a goal against them. Ignacio Mahuzier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 82 minute of play. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacio Mahuzier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER's goalkeeper Ignacio Mahuzier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ignacio Mahuzier in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after INTER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Ignacio Mahuzier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Andrei Măgură hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignacio Mahuzier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than INTER.
