Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luz Tejedor in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Belo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Mina was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Fernando Belo made a huge save. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After 89 minutes Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. 98 minutes in the game Flavio Polentzi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Erasmo Guillelme. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
