Bocho Bumbalov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Mota in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Janusze booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Brataniec in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Tostão Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Mota came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Waldemar Brataniec made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar Brataniec who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 27 played minutes Janusze got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Trzenzalski. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Mota came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bocho Bumbalov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of the match. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Janusze's goalie and right to Jonathan Venegas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Janusze's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bocho Bumbalov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Janusze's Tostão Mota shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tostão Mota made a kick off. If Karol Serwacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Serwacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tostão Mota in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bocho Bumbalov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After a rather tough play, Janusze's Sizwe Phakathi got a free kick in the 65th minute. Waldemar Brataniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Tostão Mota ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Karol Serwacki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When Janusze's Tostão Mota in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Janusze's Sylwester Ostrowski got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Janusze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Sitko didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball.
