Axel Tasis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 乔邦树. Buenos Muchachos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Hugo Jaramillo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Texeira Roales in the 12th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Jaramillo in the 13th minute. Buenos Muchachos's Emilio Boix got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. 乔邦树 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Boix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 乔邦树 came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa. But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Hugo Jaramillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Buenos Muchachos's Hugo Jaramillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-1 after 40 minutes of play. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Jaramillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Jaramillo in the 55th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Boix came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Jaramillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Carballo's late challenge caught a Buenos Muchachos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolás Carranza went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Jaramillo in the 71st minute of play. If Emilio Boix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Boix scored 5-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Jaramillo in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Emilio Boix made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. If Hugo Jaramillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Buenos Muchachos's Xavier Medel. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Jaramillo in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Buenos Muchachos had played much better football throughout.
