Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Armin Manzi sent off a good shot on target. Aurelio Vierchowod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 24th minute of play forced CabaretVoltaire's goalkeeper Aurelio Vierchowod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute CabaretVoltaire were awarded a corner. Ettore Lelli went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 28th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Vierchowod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Armin Manzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. CabaretVoltaire's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Manzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a little luck, CabaretVoltaire's Aurelio Vierchowod got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Vierchowod made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 60th minute of play. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo pulled a muscle in his leg after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 70 minutes, Damiano Palma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CabaretVoltaire and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mexico's Bautista Elvira was substituted for Lautaro Mancebo. A collision led to CabaretVoltaire getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Damiano Palma hit a great ball. Bautista Elvira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. CabaretVoltaire made a substitution. Camillo Pollastrini replaced Armin Manzi. After 75 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Bautista Elvira. With a little luck, CabaretVoltaire's Aurelio Vierchowod got control of the ball when Bautista Elvira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bautista Elvira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Vierchowod when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 92 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Vierchowod was left in no man's land by his defense there! The CabaretVoltaire fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
