Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 2nd minute of play forced FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalkeeper Angelo Fresnos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Fresnos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Fresnos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Fresnos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FLAMENGO San Sebastian made a substitution. Caitano Galego replaced Per Åström. After having played for 30 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Leoz in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Thomas Vermaelen. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Thomas Vermaelen. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Angelo Fresnos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Damaso Eron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FLAMENGO San Sebastian and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Pancho in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Pancho in the 55th minute of play. Angelo Fresnos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 57th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Angelo Fresnos threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Louis Japón was substituted for Damaso Eron. 75 minutes into the match, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalkeeper Angelo Fresnos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Fresnos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Louis Japón got a free kick in the 76th minute. Thomas Vermaelen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Mexico's Joel Gaona shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angelo Fresnos but with some difficulty. 83 minutes in the game Leonardo Leoz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lautaro Mancebo. Angelo Fresnos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Fresnos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peri Gene hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Mexico's Joel Gaona suffered a concussion after 93 minutes and had to leave the field. When Furman Cuadrado fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FLAMENGO San Sebastian's protests and gave Furman Cuadrado a yellow card for diving instead. Mexico's Bautista Elvira was substituted for Joel Gaona. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
