The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nejat Taykurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 16th minute of the match. Bize Heryer Trabzon's Nejat Taykurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nejat Taykurt. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 30th match minute, Bize Heryer Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Betonowy to maneuver through the defense. Nejat Taykurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nejat Taykurt saved Bize Heryer Trabzon from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Bize Heryer Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demircan Metiner to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bize Heryer Trabzon's Teobald Betonowy got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Bize Heryer Trabzon's Bilge Baykal got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Arturo Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Cosimo Ianni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 98thth minute of the game Bilge Baykal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uruguay played a much better game than Bize Heryer Trabzon and deserved their victory. The Bize Heryer Trabzon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
