Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 19 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but David Schembri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陆阳默, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 57 minutes Northern California's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Northern California's Conrado Frans was substituted for Antonio Guillelme. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Schembri could save by the left post. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but David Schembri made a huge save. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. David Schembri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Schembri was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Andino got free with David Schembri in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Conrado Frans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Serafin Ilazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustín Saelices's late challenge caught a Northern California's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustín Saelices helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Northern California throughout the match.
