Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Fresnos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Fresnos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Angelo Fresnos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Angelo Fresnos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the game, Damaso Eron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FLAMENGO San Sebastian! Angelo Fresnos had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 32nd minute Emiliano Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Emiliano Pancho scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caitano Galego in the 44th minute of play. Pedro Dios kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Angelo Fresnos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Pancho to make the kick off. Angelo Fresnos made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. If Emiliano Pancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Angelo Fresnos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FLAMENGO San Sebastian from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Montenegro in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Pedro Dios. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Angelo Fresnos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Fresnos. Angelo Fresnos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The supporters of FLAMENGO San Sebastian booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caitano Galego, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Daniel Zorita got free in front of the goal in the 72nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Angelo Fresnos was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Emiliano Pancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Angelo Fresnos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Emiliano Pancho came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FLAMENGO San Sebastian fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Pancho couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Fresnos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Emiliano Pancho's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Pancho helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Angelo Fresnos firmly grabbed it by the left post.
