The supporters of Ángel Albirrojo booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Frances did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso 9 minutes into the match. Amador Joanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amador Joanes. Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Amador Joanes scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 2-0. In the 20th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Franco to maneuver through the defense. Ángel Albirrojo's Lorenzo Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ángel Albirrojo defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Lorenz. The Ángel Albirrojo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Lorenz should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Lorenz was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The throw-in from Jaime Cazalla in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ángel Albirrojo's Sebastián Domínguez. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ángel Albirrojo's goalkeeper Lorenzo Lorenz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Siro Frances in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Lorenzo Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Frances to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Lorenzo Lorenz made a huge save. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ángel Albirrojo defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Lorenz. The Ángel Albirrojo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Lorenz should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ángel Albirrojo's Amador Joanes got a free kick in the 66th minute. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Lorenz made a huge save. Lorenzo Lorenz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Ángel Albirrojo's Zülfü Kamber got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jaime Cazalla fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 78th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 81st minute, Francisco Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lorenzo Lorenz. The goal made the score 2-5. If Zülfü Kamber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ángel Albirrojo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
