Kjell Ros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 8th minute of play. Kjell Ros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Gheorghe Muntian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Ros having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Zsolt Várdai made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Muntian in the 25th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 30th minute when Fredrik Wennerquist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Zsolt Várdai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Zsolt Várdai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Fredrik Wennerquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Kälvesta IOF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Söderman to maneuver through the defense.

54 minutes into the match, Kälvesta IOF's Klas Samuelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Kälvesta IOF's Gheorghe Muntian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 69th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Kälvesta IOF's Gheorghe Muntian. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Muntian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Muntian in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell Ros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Kälvesta IOF getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Günther Haslbeck hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Günther Haslbeck made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Kälvesta IOF's Torgny Söderman got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Gheorghe Muntian put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 92nd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsolt Várdai in the 94th minute of play. Kälvesta IOF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
